In 2012 the Young Professionals held the inaugural Delta Dash 5k+ Mud Run Obstacle Course in the Tensaw Delta. The Delta Dash is the primary fundraiser for the Young Professionals and 8 Years later, because of Delta Dash, the Young Professionals have raised over $157,000 that has been put back in to the North Baldwin Community through the Chamber of Commerce, Scholarships, and other educational endeavors in our community. As of 2020, the Young Professionals will have awarded more than $58,250 over the last 8 years in scholarships alone to Baldwin County High School Seniors and students at Coastal Alabama Community College and Huntingdon College in Bay Minette. Delta Dash has hosted more than 4,100 participants from more than 8 states in the last 8 years. The event is 99% volunteer driven and has welcomed an average of 200 volunteers each year on event day.
